The Eylure is one of the world's most recognized brands of false lashes in the world. It holds 80 % share in the UK market and is the No1 in Europe.
Eylure was created at 1947 by two brothers, David and Eric Aylott, renowned make-up artists to the film industry.
The two brothers created the product, the modern false eyelash, to answer a lack of effective cosmetic enhancement in the industry.
Spotting the opportunity for the wider public, the Aylotts created a brand around their invention and called it “Eylure”.
The name came from the words Eye & Allure, “Attractive Eye”.
In 2008 the brand celebrated its 60 years and continues to be the market’s leader.
