Abercrombie CO. is founded by David Abercrombie in 1892. He had a small specialty shop in New York City with highest quality outdoor apparel, camping, fishing and hunting gear. In 1904, the Shop is re-named Abercrombie & Fitch, due to the new partnership with Lawyer Erza Fitch. It was considered as the greatest sporting goods store in the world with high profile customers such as Teddy Roosevelt and John F. Kenedy.
