Van Cleef & Arpels

Van Cleef & Arpels was created in 1906 thanks to the love story between Alfred Van Cleef, the son of a diamond cutter, and Esther – or Estelle – Arpels, the daughter of a dealer in gemstones. Together, their two names have written some of the most beautiful chapters in the history of Jewelry for more than 100 years, and their achievement is constantly furthered
and enriched by the expertise of superb craftsmen, the « Golden Hands ».
The astonishing Mystery Setting technique inspires the designs. The virtuosity of the jewellers brings to life the Maison’s ingeniously transformable jewelry sets. Finally, the asymmetry which is one of the iconic signatures of Van Cleef & Arpels brings a unique, natural energy to these wonderful pieces.

Created in 2009, Van Cleef & Arpels’ Collection Extraordinaire pays homage to the noblest ingredients in perfumery. Just like the rarest precious stones selected for use in High Jewellery, some extraordinary essences compose the perfumer's palette. It is composed by the following fragrances : Ambre Impérial, Precious Oud, Orchidée Vanille, Gardénia Pétale, Bois D'Iris, California Reverie, Bois Doré , Néroli Amara.

The refined bottles of Collection Extraordinaire showcase the splendour of the scents.
A brown thread wraps around the neck of each bottle, bearing a plaque stamped with a seal.
A pure white label reveals the name of the fragrance.
Each bottle is then housed in a beautiful white box heightened by the Maison's signature green border.
