THE FRAGRANCE
A hypnotic play on contrasts between floral and gourmand, Jimmy Choo Fever is an addictive new scent that carries its wearer into the night, leaving an addictive sensual trail behind her.
To create this scent, perfumers Nathalie Lorson, based in Paris, and Honorine Blanc, who lives in New York, explored new facets of almond and black plum nectar. Their aim was to create the ultimate scent for a woman who is effortlessly seductive and in charge of her destiny.
“We wanted to work this fragrance in a floral and addictive way, to evoke the magnetic night-time universe and arouse femininity and sensuality,” they explained. “We explored a new addiction, far from traditional gourmand notes. An almondy floral roasted addiction less regressive and much more contrasted, oscillating between the intense balsamic roasted facets of tonka bean and the carnal, floral, powdery texture of heliotrope. Punctuated by black plum nectar on top and wrapped in the drydown of warm, voluptuous tonalities of benzoin and sandalwood, it reveals a unique hypnotic trail.”
The fragrance opens with the rich yet vivid juicy sweetness of plum, which is blended with the fresh rosy accents of lychee and countered with the subtle bitter tones of grapefruit. At its heart, the powdered roundness of heliotrope mingles with an exotic vanilla orchid, contrasted with ultra-feminine jasmine. It then evolves with base notes of creamy sandalwood, the balsamic warmth of benzoin and the roasted almond facets of tonka bean, giving the fragrance its carnal velvet sensuality.
